WATCH: Amber Rose Rides Shotgun In Future’s “Mask Off” Video

Amber Rose done finagled her way into a Future video. The Atlanta rapper drops a dark visual for his anthem “Mask Off,” and Rose is riding shotgun in the whip.  As for the clip, Future is driving around a city that looks straight out of one of those The Purge flicks. No chorus of flute players, though? WATCH: T.I.’s Us Or Else: Letter To The System [VIDEO]

» by Omar Mazariego May 5 2017, 12:37pm Share This Tweet This Email This Following in the footsteps of Tupac Shakur before him , T.I. has taken to politics after seeing the effect it has on the community and is using his rap star status to bring social consciousness to his fans and the Hip-Hop culture. And with the way things are unfolding under the current Trump administration , it’s just what the game needs. Just last week BET premiered T.I.’s politically charged short-film, Us or Else: Letter To The System . The short special was basically the visual manifestation of his social-political themed EP of the same title that dropped late last year. Taking on a few roles in the short, T.I. paints a picture that details just how police brutality touches different sectors of the community before ultimately leading to a Black Lives Matter protest. And no, a can of Pepsi was nowhere...

Page Six  reports that Mashariki filed a discrimination lawsuit in the state of California. In it she alleges: The Company fosters a good old boys’ club atmosphere and mentality that are hostile to women and their advancement.   » by Patrice Nelson May 5 2017, 10:17am Share This Tweet This Email This Funkmaster Flex clarified his statements about Tupac Shakur’s 1994 shooting, and also insisted that Biggie would still be alive if he told the “truth.” Flex caught hell for seemingly talking down on the dead when he said that Tupac actually shot himself by mistake in the infamous 1994 Quad Studios attack. But days later, Flex returned to Instagram Live to clarify his statements and make new ones as well. Among the many who criticized his rants as T.I., who accused him of breaking the G-code . To that Flex responded, “I’m going to keep it the g-code right T.I. because g-code is the word that you used. When you’re carrying a pistol on you and you’re a celebrity, you know you have a problem with somebody which is none of our business, but they [were] friends. He...

Kodak Black has been sentenced to a year in prison for a parole violation. However, under the right circumstances the rapper could be released in about a month.  Reports the Sun-Sentinel : “Depending on the outcome of this, it could be the beginning of my career, or the end of my career,” said the rapper, addressing Judge Michael Lynch. Shortly after, Lynch announced to a full-to-capacity courtroom he would be giving the 19-year-old, whose real name is Dieuson Octave, another chance to make good. Octave had been facing the potential maximum of eight years in state prison, as the Broward state attorney’s office was requesting. Instead, Lynch sentenced him to 364 days in the county jail.
